WR/DB Eric Glover-Williams (transfer to Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, transfer to Slippery Rock)

Damon Webb vs EGW was an epic matchup, as frequent as it was great. EGW must have taken 4x as many reps as every other player and kept cutting in line and calling out Webb.

Webb won the matchups overall, but fresh off of a Webb interception a minute earlier, EGW made this play:

So, to be the best you have to beat the best, right? Love the competitive spirit and EGW hasn't even started his junior year.

Awesome. Guy is out of this world athletic and to bring in grabs like this just spells playmaker. Any top 20 list nationally without EGW on it shouldn't even be a list imo. Kid is lights out and I love the competitive fire...I'm sure Urban does too  Side note-glad to see Webb out competing too.

Recruit Eric Glover-Williams says Ohio State wants him as face of 2015 class: With video
By Doug Lesmerises, The Plain Dealer
July 27, 2013

COLUMBUS, Ohio ? When you arrive at a football camp and the other hundred-plus campers are wearing red or gray camp T-shirts, and you're wearing a red T-shirt with the Superman logo, you've got to back it up.

?Oh yeah, for sure, when I wear the 'S' on my chest, I've got to show you how it's really done when I go out there,? Canton McKinley junior Eric Glover-Williams said on Friday night. ?I like being competitive. I'm really competitive.?

So standing out for Glover-Williams was a good thing at the Buckeyes' Friday Night Lights recruiting event on Friday at Ohio Stadium. He danced to the music while waiting in line for drills, a large mouthpiece sticking out of his mouth. The mouthpiece, looking like a pacifier, was there as he went head-to-head with OSU pledge Damon Webb in several drills.

ERIC GLOVER-WILLIAMS - 2015 ATH. CANTON MCKINLEY (OHIO)

Sporting a red 'S' on his chest, Eric Glover-Williams was the talk of the camp with many fans asking who superman was. Working out with the receivers, Glover-Williams flashed his speed and sure hands on Friday. Late in camp he moved over to DB and recorded an interception. He is a competitor, which the staff has taken note of. Kerry Coombs told (yelled) campers that Ohio State wants competitors, players that refuse to lose. The rising junior showed that he was scared of no one, repeatedly going up against Ohio State commitment cornerback Damon Webb in 1-on-1 drills. Webb and Glover-Williams both beat each in 1-on-1's a few times. I caught up with EGW after the camp had concluded:

Q: How much of a performer do you like to be out there?

A: I just like to compete out there to my highest ability. Show out for whoever is watching.

Q: What were you hoping to accomplish?

A: Just to see who I was going against, to see who is going to be in my class.

Q: You were out there going to head with Damon (Webb). Describe your battles with him.

A: He is a great player, a great corner. He told me he was coming up here. We kind of went at it every time I went up and I told him to go against me so we could go at it and battle.

Contd.....

I don't live in Ohio unfortunately so I learn about in state kids later than most. That being said I have seen enough of this stud in a short time to be a big fan. Kids a straight up baller. He oozes confidence and backs it up. Usually players like this have a way of rubbing off on other players in a good way. Spend some time around him and you have 2 options. Embrace the competition and make it a part of how you conduct your business or step aside. I LOVE IT.

As long as players like this remain good teammates and are not in it for their own publicity they can only help a team by raising the bar. If he has leadership skills to go along with it I'd love to have him be an early recruit and initial face of the next class.

I don't think those youtu.be links work quite right for embedding

Just go to the actual youtube video page you want to embed and get rid of everything after the single / except for the "watch?v=buncharandomletters" part. Also, make sure it's not https:// ; I think only http:// will embed properly.
