Hawaii makes it longest road trip of the year this week to WAC foe Louisiana Tech. Tech only beat IAA newcomer Central Arkansas 28-7 under new coach Derrick Dooley, son of former Georgia athletic director Vince Dooley. This game should have a more widely available line this week complete with the legendary over/under for Hawaii games.

The media perceptions of UH and USC are vastly different. In the eyes of the media, USC is seen as supremely talented (which they are), and have a coach who "lets his kids have fun and play." Therefore, if scores get out of hand, it can't be helped. UH will not get the same pass from some media types. Add to the fact that UH has a pass-first mentality, which gives more of an appearance of "running it up." Again, we are talking how the voters might view it. Just my opinion, UH and Jones have to walk a finer line.

Is there anyone by the name of Brutus in this forum??

The reason why I asked is because he is an OSU fan that wants to talk trash on Hawaii. Now we have respect for you guys and I think this is just an isolated case but I dont think he should come up to our Hawaii Football forum and just talk smack when were not even on your guys football schedule. If you guys want to see what he posted, here it is...

Does Hawaii honostly believe they can win a BCS Bowl game with NO running game?

In 2 games Hawaii has had 30 carries ( 14 of which were by Brennan for 15 yards ) for a grand total of 82 yards.

Once Hawaii plays a team with even an average secondary, an overrated Brennan ( who only gets his stats because all Hawaii does is pass will be exposed ) and a HIGHLY overated football team will be exposed.
