HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

I've been a little flippant with this, so let me be clear.

Ohio State missed 80% of spring and half of the season.

Their ability to execute that wide a variety of plays at that level in spite of missing that much development should be considered one of the greatest coaching jobs of all time.

Pay the man his money

This should be the #1 CFB story after the immediate aftermath and reaction to the games. People totally underestimate the level of structure and planning by the coaches, and the work and buy-in needed by every player to make this work.

To add to the above.....that’s damn impressive for a grizzled veteran.

Nobody is talking about the fact that this bad ass motherfucker is doing this in his 2nd full year as HC. Yeah I know he inherited a solid program but you still have to perform.

Someone can hand you the keys to a sports car and that doesn’t guarantee you aren’t putting the damn thing into the wall.

And then look at what recruiting points to in the future. Ryan Patrick Fucking Day is absolutely slaying it and the average fan doesn’t even realize what this guy is truly up to.

He’s already avenged a loss to an ‘elite’ coach in whistlebritches and now he’s big game hunting with the mother of all trophies by stalking Saban like some kind of stone cold killer.

And this damn guy is just getting started folks.

I don’t care what happens on Monday, that’s just the way it is.

Look the fuck out. Ryan Day is a bad sumbitch and I can’t believe he wears Scarlet and Grey. We are soooo lucky.

I'm still amazed we were able to install a new defense from a new coordinator with those limitations.

Love this guy, but hope he learned that to win an NC, you have to be elite--that game plan tonight? Not elite. Heisman winner had 200+ yards receiving at the half, and that's just the beginning. I think Day will be fine, but Jesus he has some wood to chop if he wants to win a title.
