SIAP, I know this is a couple of weeks behind the original post. But, I’m kinda excited to see what Day does for the first couple of weeks. There’s no denying that he and Wilson don’t have the QB run as their crutch play. It will be really fun to see them run the ship.

I do have to wonder if there has been any communication between Day and Urban that went to the effect of:

Urban: Run it.

Day: But we’ve got Haskins at QB. I think we...

Urban (interrupting): Run.the.fucking.score.

Day: Done.

Yeah I'm kinda hoping Day puts more emphasis on Haskin's arm and the passing game.

Not that the offense will change, but different tendencies and pass/rush % would be good to see. Let's hope Days had a great camp and has some room to make his impact felt.

I think we will see a pretty even mix of the rushing and passing in playcalling. I look forvthem to go deep in their first series and for a sick class is running over people. The Beavers are not a top 100 defensive unit. They will be thinking Ohio State will be distracted. Ryan will want to put at least 21 on the board in the first half.

Half? If there’s not 21 in the first quarter I’ll be a bit shocked. My Q1 o/u is 17.5.
