Heat vs Pacers - 2nd round

Outside of a number of Cavs game this season, last night was the first NBA game I watched for more than 10-15 minutes. I started watching it late in the 1st quarter and I must say it was the most enjoyable game of the season. Watching Indiana just stand up and throw haymakers against those mentally weak fragile school girls was entertaining as all hell. I still think the Heat have a lot left before it's all said and done but my god would it be glorious if the Pacers knocked them out and we got to watch the Heat Index Implode right before our eyes.

As to what others have said. Wade is such a fucking bitch. Crying about being hurt, sore, tired, refs, and his coach getting in his face is just hysterical coming from the same clown that shot a commercial glorifying his ability to fall and down get back up time after time like a man. It's easy to act like a man when you're beating up inferior teams by 20 points with your two gay friends high fiving you. Not so much when you're the one getting beat up by 20 points.

heard Wade is claiming he's not "100%" from his late season injuries....

They will never trade Wade. That is his team. What they need to do is add a legitimate Center. Skilled (and marginally skilled) big men have been killing them for two years. Rumors floating that Greg Oden may be interested in going there. God knows if he could stay healthy long enough to contribute, though. They also need help at PG. Chalmers, despite good effort last night, isn't good enough.

Personally, I think the whole "Big three" idea was seriously flawed from the beginning. That league is won with depth...not just stars. The cHeat have zero depth, and they never will.

Well it could work if their skill sets didn't overlap as much as the cHeat's do.

Lebron and Wade are basically the same player and Bosh is basically in-between the two of them as well with less driving and more midrange. They don't compliment each other, they are basically within the same range of player.

Now if it had been Chris Paul, Bitchwade and someone in the post who's actually good at being in the post, that would likely have a better shot at working.

So Mike Miller gets a bump up from the average from his home state. DWade gets a bump from Wisconsin (Marquette). Even Georgia (Bosh) supports the Heat more than the average.

Lebron's home state? Well, they do get 21% support. But they're probably all front-running Steelers fans too.

I watched this game 5 for about 30 seconds in between innings of the Indians...in that time, I caught Haslem with the double tomahawk to the head of Hansborough, which somehow was only called a flagrant 1. That right there was a microcosm of what a joke the NBA has become and why I only watch it for 30 seconds at a time anymore.

If the Heat are going to have their goons taking cheap shots over choke gestures, then the Pacers have to retaliate tommorrow night. With Granger and West a little banged up, they might as well go down fighting, literally.

It's sad that such a "great" team is getting into physical rivalries with pesky non-contenders like Indiana. That would be a staple of a Lebron team. Remember those great rivalries between the Cavs-Wizards?

But when they have to play real teams, they back down like the little pussies they are. Would love to see someone put a hard hit on Lebron and see how he reacts.

EDIT: It thought it was funny seeing DWade complain about the Hanbrough foul as if he hadn't cheap-shotted Collison from behind a few games ago in a way that could have ended his career. DWade has Lebron beat in both rings and being a bitch, IMO.

Not to mention. Hansbrough was actually going for the ball. Wade brought the ball back down to avoid getting blocked and that's why he took the shot to the head. If the ball had been up over his head, there's no foul there.

Haslem made no such pretense.
