Hey Coop! Where Are You?

I am really sick of hearing all these "great" quotes from Coop's recruits who couldn't cut it in the classroom. He was more than willing to share some of Coach Tressel's spotlight because "Tressel won with Cooper's players." Well, your players cannot pass classes and seem to be flunking out in life. Where are you now?

We've heard from Crosby, M. Cooper, Boone, Stirrup (sp?), Maldonado, and others. These were all of his recruits and were there under his watch. Are any of us supposed to believe this stuff just suddenly started happening after your ass was fired and Coach Tressel was hired?

Cooper, get out from behind whatever door you are hiding behind and let us know what involvement you had with any of this stuff. Either then or now!

I believe Boone was actually a Tressel recruit. (If I'm wrong somebody will surely rip my ass for it.) The reason you're not hearing Coop is precisely the reason that you're implying, and also precisely the reason he's not employed by OSU anymore. Quite frankly, I'm glad we're not hearing from him right now. I don't care how much credit he takes for the 2002 season. Him getting involved with the current situation can only make things worse, and I hope he remains uninvolved.

I agree. Not because I think he's guilty or has the smoking gun, but because Cooper has always had a special knack for saying something really stupid.
Yeah like being from Tennessee and telling Buckeye fans the day he was hired it was because he was carrying his "lucky buckeye" in his pocket! We can all be thankful he lost it and was fired!
