My wife got an invitation for one of her reunions lately and she wrote back that she didn't like any of them the first time around.buckeyegrad;1738444; said:My class didn't have a 10th or 15th. Primarily because I was the class president, but I have zero desire to organize one. Back in high school when a couple of teachers talked me into running for the position, they never told me of the reunion expectation--I never would have run. I've made it clear to my class that they shouldn't expect me to put one together; but no one has picked up the ball until this year, where the the class behind us has decided to have a 15th/16th year reunion for both classes.
I won't be attending this year, as I have work commitments that weekend, and more importantly, I don't see the need for one. Especially in light of Facebook. I'm "friends" with a good 1/2 of my class on Facebook and see their updates and family pictures all the time. Not sure what the point of hanging out with them for a weekend would achieve.
Great thing is, my wife feels the same way and has skipped her 10th and 15th as well.
