The Nebraska-Oklahoma rivalry was the biggest casualty of conference realignment to me.

I had a conversation with a colleague who lives in Oklahoma City and the subject of Baker Mayfield came up. He went on to talk smack regarding Mayfield planting the flag in Ohio Stadium and that it was for revenge of us singing in their stadium.
I told him that it was the Alma Mater and we sing it win our lose. Didn’t matter to these mutants that it was the Alma Mater and not the fight song in their mind it is one and the same and showed disrespect. Mutants I tell you, mutants...
