So, anyone with a Kenmore, Miele, or Dyson, any thoughts/praises/gripes? Heading out in an hour or so to go browsing, so I'm not hopeful for a lot of feedback, but any I do get would be greatly appreciated. Also, yes, I know, they all suck.

Eureka makes a decent product.

Had the below for about 7 years, only changed the belt a couple of times and very easy to maintain. I think I got it at Target and paid something like $130 for it.

Looking to have a 250' fence built in our back yard for the pets. I live in Licking County.

1) Anyone hire out for this recently? What did you pay per linear foot?

2) anyone have any good recommendations for a contractor?

3) Anyone do it themselves in the past? Would you recommend that or avoid it?

'm not too keen on the scope of the project, especially with how long it took me to complete my deck. One thing I plan to explore is whether a contractor will bring the supplies, install the posts and then halt labor before building the fence itself. I'm not sure if they do that or how much it would save me, but that would be a much more reasonable task to do solo.

Pay someone to do it unless you have a helper or two for the entire project.

Even then I'm rather inclined to hire out if I can swing it. Thanks for confirming my initial research.

I've hired out fence work in the past, and would only undertake small fencing jobs myself. My only word of advice is to insist on screws instead of nails if you're going with a privacy or picket fence.

Good call. Quality fasteners are a must. Not just stability but a brand new fence with fastener leaks/stains is the worst.

Worth the price for the expediency of someone else doing it.

Missed this. Sorry. Just wanted to agree. I entered a longer term contractual agreement. She's been getting it up quicker for me for the duration of the job. Well worth the price. The occasional free sammich has been a bonus.

An electronic gadget question: I have a Samsung smart TV with very limited connections. It is not Bluetooth enabled. I also have wireless headsets that work with a bluetooth transmitter that plugged in to my old TV with either a 3.5mm plug or the dual red&white audio cables.

The only audio out connection on the Samsung is Digital Audio Out (Optical). The Samsung is Dolby.

So, I want to connect the transmitter to the new TV. I'm looking at Dolby Digital to Analog Converters on Amazon. Is that my best way to go?
