Horseshoe seating question

Hey everyone....
I have never sat down in the "AA" seats and was wondering if any of you who have been down there to watch a game could tell me whether they're good seats. I know they're close to the field, but are they too close? Are you able to see much of the field? If I get tickets down there, should I try to be higher up in the section?

Thanks in advance....

Depends on what section you are in.

My thoughts exactly...

I say your best bet is to get a higher number AA deck, like 15-25AA so you'll be in the middle of the field, and a fairly high row if you want to be able to "see" the game. I was in 11AA (row 2) for the UC and Marshall games this past season, and while it was great sitting so close, half the time I was staring at the scoreboard so I could figure out what was going on. And when Nuge kicked the 55 yarder to win the game, we couldn't tell if it went in or not cause we were directly perpendicular to the north field goal. It didn't help that we were already shaking in our boots in anxiety, but when everyone started cheering we knew for sure.

I'd almost take A deck over AA, especially if its somewhere near the middle of the field.

I sat in like the 20th row of 11A (which is beyond the end zone) and I still had a blast. It is easier to see the plays develop from other seats, but for $200ish (thanks again ntd, and also to bn27 for backing out on the tix) for two tickets to The Game it was a spectacular set of seats for me!

It's not the best place to view the progression of the field, but you're really really close. So you can get a pretty good deal for a big game by sitting there (since its slightly less desirable). I loved being really closeup for all of the warmups before the game.

I sat in either 23 or 25 AA for the Penn state game in 02' and it was crazy to be that close to the field, watching Gamble return the INT,etc. That said, you only saw half the action. If something happens at the other end, forget about seeing any of it.

Can u sit in "A" seats and still be able to rush the field after the game? Im wondering ebacuse me and a friend want to be able to do so after we beat Texas this year. Also, any news on when the Texas tix go on sale?
Definitely. And the nice thing is all they care about are the goalposts... they let you run on the field and everything. The only consideration I could see would be that the fans went a little nuts and started tearing up the grass last year after The Game (which hopefully they would not in the 2nd home game vs. the last game)... but unless they change their approach I was quite able to run onto the field after the game from my 11 A seat.

Thank u for the quick and nice reply. Im so used to the dredded replys on the ESPN boards :( ! I now have found a new home...Which would you say is the best seating in "A". Also any word on when the Texas tickets are able to be bought?

ESPiN's board is a joke (I'm Skull_Session from there).

AHHHH...The only Buckeye fan from there I can actually respect. I think a couple days ago I told u that I was "Un_Chaind." At first the board was nice, but overtime it made me become a "troll-like" to get my points across,a nd I HATE it. I have MUCH respect for this board and would love to get involved as much as possible. Im an art student here at OSU (born and raised in the C-BUS) and would love to send new Ideas or graphics to the site just for future Ideas and what-not.

I really appreciate the sites and info.

Yep, I remember you telling me you were Unchaind (I was partially stating my name so other buck fans from both boards would know). That board is absolutely out of control. I can't wait until Texas gets smoked and chumps life becomes even more pathetic.

Anything you can do to help with the graphics (if nothing else) would be awesome. Hopefully we can raise enough money soon to get a new server, because once we do a number of options will be possible that we have to avoid for now (since our traffic is already quite high). One of these is that there is a good chance we may be able to start a picture forum which would at least organize all wallpapers and farks, but hopefully be able to archive game photos and other pictures as well. Ideally these would even be set up in a thumbnail browsing system that would allow us to leave comments for the pictures but browse thru them without reading those comments. If that project gets off the ground, I'll need some help with the archiving of photos and perhaps some moderation as well. So I'll keep you in mind once that glorious day arrives.

I will be around full-time until June 06, when I start focusing my efforts in a conjugal sense within the confines of marriage  We already have a number of other recent emerging users (in addition to the longer existing ones like DA-Bucks, OilerBuck, etc.) that are good at design, and this is a good trend as my wallpaper counts will plummet after I get married. Fortunately I'll be a single guy working fulltime but not doing much else until then, so I'll be able to keep up my obsession with buckeye artwork.
