Horseshoes and Hand Grenades Meets Philosophical Musings

Beauty, of course, does still lie in the eye of the beholder. An interesting study of attractiveness, broken down by figure areas, can be found here.

This study came up with some basic "body ideals."

Which do you find attractive:

Woman A: Woman B: Woman C: Woman D:

Personally I find them all attractive.

Attitude, intelligence, personality all plays into the equation. It does not hurt the cause if they are smoking hot and have an eight digit bank account.

Yes, cultural and social aspects come into play to of course. In poor countries to this day the older ideal of larger women is still a large part of a beauty ideal.

But the first evaluation of physical attractiveness is what that study tried to condense.

Attitude shows in how the person carries themselves up to a point, but otherwise is something you would find out more about as you interacted with the person. Intelligence you wouldn't know until you talked to them, personality is also something you wouldn't know until you talked to them. Those would all either increase or decrease the initial physical attraction.

I'd hit all 4 of the above , at one time please.

I already said why.:wink2:

I realize there are subtle differences but without seeing them walk, smile or hear then talk I view them as the same. I guess I will have to turn in my pervert card as none of them yell "take me home" to me.

That being said can we get a back view? Perhaps I'll get my card back!

No back view, sorry. :(

Personally, it will be a lot more interesting to know not only which, but why, guys. Grist for the discussion and all that.

A and B because they both have hips. C+D, not so much. It's not that they are too skinny, just don't have the ideal female form. It doesn't have to be hourglass necissarily, but at least a widening around the waist to some degree makes them far more attractive. I really like B because she is taller.

Let me make one thing abundantly clear...I would do all of them without hesitation.

I'd put B + C about even, followed by A, then D. D looks unhealthily skinny to me. A is just a little unbalanced top to bottom. B is nicely symmetric, while C strikes me as athletic, which I like.

What about D makes you feel she may not be of age?

For me, it's that her head looks too big for her body, which is a characteristic of kids.

You wouldn't hit any of them?

I don't know if this will work or not, but I thought it might be an interesting topic:

What makes this woman "hot"?

As this is philosophical musings, I am asking this question in terms of what in our psychology, in our history, in our culture, in our meaning-making processes cause us to believe she is hot?

Not a fan of the big tits.
Love the hair, skin, lips, teeth, high check bones and the fact that she's obviously fixated at the oral stage. She's a keeper.

I prefer skinny, but D is too skinny. C would be my choice.
A will become too thick eventually. B is close to C, but in a tie, I'll take the shorter girl. Upon further review, it looks like C has the bigger tits, in a tie, tit size trumps height, so I'll take B because she has smaller breasts.
