  • Last week I headed to Beantown and the offices of the new company I joined. They put me up in a Crowne Plaza on the north side of town. IMHO it was overpriced for what you got at ~$130 a night. You had to pay $10 a day extra for internet and the breakfast buffet was $13. Nothing like the Hampton Inns that I usually stay at and serve free breakfast and providing free internet.

So, the first night I am there I hear my next door neighbors. There was a large thud and then I hear the girl saying "don't you're hurting me". Then I hear some slapping and some more "stop that hurts". Her voice is a little shaky and it seemed to escalate with more slapping and more "that hurts". so I call the front desk and say I think someone is being abused in the next room. Of course they say they are going to check it out, but never do.

This goes on and on and then turns into a full scale porno complete with moaning, groaning, spanking, banging and the big O yell. If only I would have had the video......

You should have knocked on their door and yelled "Police!! Open up!!" in a deep voice then jetted back to your room. Bet that would have stopped the show. I know it did for a party going on in cheap hotel I stayed in a long time ago.

A woman wrote a letter to a small hotel in El Paso she planned to visit on her vacation.
She wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me.
He is well-groomed and very well behaved.
Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote:
MAM: "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls.
I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly.
And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill.
Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.
And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too."

When I was 20, I worked for a merchandising company. We traveled all over, and it was awesome.

We were in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Fairfield Inn. Within three days, the hotties working the front desk were doing out laundry, bringing us food from the continental breakfast, and uh...other stuff.

    Best hotel ever.
