Houston Rockets (2x NBA Champions)

The biggest problem I see with this type of thinking is that history, statistics, memory, record books, and reality indicate this is wrong. Other than that, you have a great argument. :roll2:

Of course, as I've said before, too bad Jordan had to retire in order to avoid getting in trouble with his gambling debts. If it wasn't his own mistakes, this whole argument would be a moot point and settled by history.
Really? I actually believe the NBA was on strike for 2 years. :roll2:

I'm pretty sure that 27 made it clear early in this thread that he is enormously biased towards Da Bulls. The fact that anyone is still arguing about this is just more ammo for him to stir it up.

So, I don't read all those books and stuff about sports and stuff. Why, exactly, did Jordan have to make his departure?
I left this thread a long time ago and was surprised to see it still with life, so I decided to have fun by trying to get under 27's and other Jordan-worshipers' skin.

As for Jordan's gambling problems, that has long been a rumour around the NBA and sporting news world. Many will deny it, but there are a lot who claim he was running from gambling debts. The best evidence I can give to the story being true is that my brother-in-law spoke with a first cousin of Labron James on a flight from Miami to Cleveland about six months ago. The cousin claimed that Labron had told him that all NBA players know that Jordan's gambling problems are real and he did retire for those two years to take care of the troubles--he didn't want to become the Pete Rose of basketball. This of course it total hearsay, so who really knows.

Rapper Lil B
James Harden Needs to Stop Doing My Dance
... OR ELSE!!!

The biggest obstacle standing between James Harden and an NBA championship is not Steph Curry ... it's Lil B, who is threatening to put a curse on The Beard ... unless he cops to his demands.

Lil B is pissed because he thinks Harden keeps jacking his "cooking dance" when he celebrates draining a big shot. Harden has been doing it all season, but Lil B says he's watching the Western Conference Finals -- and if Harden does it again ... it's gonna be curses.

Lil B tells TMZ Sports, "If Harden doesn't tell what he is doing, which is the Lil B cooking dance, he will be cursed. He needs to stop stealing Lil B swag without showing love."

Q&A: Lil B talks about the BasedGod's curse on James Harden

In the past week, the rapper Lil B has become a source of anguish for Houston Rockets fans.

Born Brandon McCartney, the Oakland-based rapper was angered that James Harden's cooking/stir the pot celebration was eerily similar to the Lil B cooking dance. He had a simple request of Harden: Where did you come up with your celebration?

If Harden had credited Lil B, all was good. Instead, Harden seemed oblivious to the rapper's question so the BasedGod cursed the Rockets guard. But Lil B didn't want the BasedGod to curse Harden. As an artist, he just wanted to get the proper respect for his art form but Harden's defiance forced the BasedGod to react. Now Harden and the Rockets are down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

Lil B is expected to be at Oracle Arena for Game 5 but last night, Lil B spoke with CBSSports.com over the phone about Harden's curse and where things stand between him and Kevin Durant.

The following Q&A is lightly edited for clarity and flow.

CBSSports.com: Harden has been doing his celebration all season, why bring it up now?

Lil B: I'm just tired of people stealing things from Lil B. With me being an unsigned, independent artist, I'm doing everything by myself. No management, no label or whatever, it is all me. A lot of people from all walks of life like to take things from Lil B, for example there are these people out there making Lil B clothes which I haven't endorsed.
