got the old "get your butt over here" pm from C...

Interesting how most of the "old-timers" from BN are now here.... I remember when BN was beyond tiny (as in you posted in the morning and checked back in the afternoon, and if you were lucky one or two folks posted a response)... of course that's how this place was in the early days as well... how things change...

Familial is a good decriptor...

I would think everyone would agree with that, well, except maybe Luis H, exwolve, and now maybe Mistrii

Is "familial" a synonym for "eletist"?

I did a Google Search for "DoucheNozzle" and there it was.

Actually lurked on BN for a year or two and hardly ever posted because I did not want to at work. I came here when they shut down the RR and just becuase I was generally sick of BN. After work started going down the crapper I did not care about posting at work anymore, and stopped lurking.

For newer members like myself, what was the general reason people were getting banned from BN? I have not seen Clarity post enough but I've never seen any posts of his which would get him banned over there. But perhaps he just posted at the intelligence level at that site, and the truth hit a little close to home. Mili is a little easier to believe :)

So please fill some of us in on what the wonderful problem was that created most of our members.

I went to BN after watching the 2002 Michigan game and being amazed at how exciting it was... I had just tuned in because a friend had talked my ear off about the Bucks for three years, and I remembered that he had shown me an article there at one point.

When some of my favorite posters at BN started disappearing, I started looking around for where the interesting stuff was going on. Didn't see too much happening at Rivals, and Bannedposters was pretty much exhawg talking to himself by then (not that that wasn't interesting :p). Finally saw a reference to BP and headed over.

I've been hanging out on the boards for 3 years but didn't really start to post until I moved... you all are my portable people. :)
