How do you shrink images down to fit in your avatar or signature?

You can use a program like Adobe Photoshop to shrink down to the correct size. I know there are a few other programs out there that can do it easily but I can't think of them off hand since I always use Photoshop.... maybe someone else can help with another program.

What I usually do is open the image in paint. Then under the image menu I use the stretch/skew feature to shrink the image. Enter in values under 100 in the verticle and horizontal boxes until you get an image size that fits. The way you can check is to look under attributes located under the image menu. Hope that helps.

I edited that a long time ago, just couldn't ever figure out how to downsize it. If there is one thing about computers I DO stink at, it is picture editing and whatnot. I give up on it usually.

Mad props to DC for shrinking that bad boy down. kudos.
