How does work make you feel today?

Interviewed for a position about a month ago. The last thing the interviewer told me was I would know one way or another within a couple of days where I stood and they wouldn’t leave me hanging. Two weeks later I sent an email confirming my interest in the position with a couple points on why me. Today on LinkedIn I saw they hired someone else.

Great way to learn your fate, even though I was 99% sure I wasn’t getting a call back. At least be professional and do what you say.

welp, i made the jump back in November and changed jobs.

financially it was a good move, but “status”, it’s a step back. lower on totem pole, and more physical work than before.

almost 6 years was plenty at my previous job.

unfortunately, holidays followed by health issues that popped up has kept me from really getting my feet wet with this new company until the last couple weeks.

im actually somewhat enjoying this now that i’m cleared and able to just work for a change.

I feel your pain. Every interview I had over the past year did this. Obviously I knew I wasn't getting it once a week or two went by, but it would be nice to hear something

Well, let's see. First I got my Cycle out of the garage and let it run for 10-15 minutes. Then I ran it around a short block and decided the wind was too cold so I got a scarf and gloves and took a short ride around several blocks
and then I rode our along the river as far as the cemetery. then I stopped to check the water depth. Then I rode home and put my cycle back away. I noticed they have scraped a lot of the tree stumps, ice blocks and dirt away from the road. That was my work for the day.

The Jan-Apr slogan every year for you, right?

I usually hold it together until April. I'm just tired. Tired of people sending me garbage.

I kid you not.....I asked a doctor to send me his investment forms and rather than uploading a PDF of the form from the website to my website, he downloaded the PDF, took a separate photo of his monitor showing each individual page, and then uploaded each photo individually to my site.
