Something's fishy about $1,000 New York pizza

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York restaurateur has cooked up the world's most extravagant pizza -- a $1,000 pie topped with six kinds of caviar and fresh lobster.

Nino Selimaj, who runs six pizza restaurants in the Big Apple, on Wednesday unveiled the Luxury Pizza, a 12-inch (30-cm), thin crust topped with caviar, lobster, creme fraiche and chives. Cut into eight, it works out at $125 a slice.

I heard about this story this morning on the news. Even though it is my favorite food and is a food group in and of itself I wouldn't pay that much. Maybe if the place had some really hot girls working there and I got to go on some dates with them....then I might have to grab me "a slice".

on a side note, on PTI yesterday, they talked about some Russian oil billionaire paid $2 billion to his ex-wife just so he could bang guts with Marat Safin's ex cum trap...talk about an ambitious buy-out and trade up...wow!
