The Man From Kubasaki
RB/FB: Wells will wait until late to announce. We are looking good now but you all know our record with guys who announce late. If Ringer gets his academics in order I would offer him immediately rather than wait for Wells. Besides Ringer I want a big back. How about R. Jackson from NJ. I'd like a FB too - How about C. Smith from Glenville. So Ringer, Jackson and Smith.

WR/TE: I'd love to get either Gowland or Lawrence Wilson at TE. For WR I'll take Amos and call it a day. Amos is the athlete type and could play CB also.

OL: If we can get Taz we will have potentially the best OL class here in a long time if not ever.

DL: One more DE and that's it. How about Worthington?

LB: Give me two OLB types with great speed: Daniels and McCoy. What's that? Daniels is a S? No, he's not.

DB: Give me Jenkins and Oatis.

Athlete: Here are a couple guys who could play multiple positions: Lenix and Carlton Jackson.

With the guys we already have (Schoenhoft, Hartline, Boone, Cordle, Bemoll, Denlinger, Williams, O'Neil and Pettrey) that makes 22 which may be one more than we have available. So if I have to trim one spot - I just can't do it.

Do you think OSU won't get Adam M-W or you just are not sold on him v. the others on your list?

If we don't get Ringer or the 2004 version of Wells at RB I guess we could skip a year to get down to 21 ships and wait for the 2005 Wells (Chris).

my take

HB-Wells ( has family from Ohio and I don't see him in GT)
FB- Clapp or Shumacker
TE-I think they won't get one here for some reason. if they do Gawland
OL-I think they will get Wilson as well.
DE- I'd say Worthington will be a buckeye with his dad bee'n the pressure we need!

OLB- I'd say Rico McCoy, and Alex Daniels
DB- AMW, and most likly the boy from Cali (forget his name)
Ath- Freddie Lenix, and Jackson from Florida

I think that the most important are Alex Daniels, Worthington, and AMW I think AMW is important because that means we can move Ginn to Offense. Alex Daniels is a MUST because of his size and speed a kid like that can cause a team fits with how versatile he is! Also the Ath's are important as well Freddie could be a heck of a saftery and from what Lyons said in the Big 33 game thats who he was most impressed with so thats a very positive thing. Also Jackson from Florida for some reason sticks in my mind as a type of kid who can be a game breaker. Worthington just reminds me of Will Smith guys there is no way a kid with his hieght and size/speed can't be a must get. Plus with his height (6'7") he could grow into a 280-300 pound Defensive end. I think Ronnie Wilson would be a very good addition and is one of the better O-lineman but we already are stacked therefor wouldn't require him as a must get you know how it goes. I think this class will be better than the MoC class IMO tho and in a couple years we will remember this class as the class that again take us to the NC game. If I missed anyone I might have just forgot them! but thanks and GO BUCKS.

i'll take a guess at how the class will finish up although i'm sure there will be a couple of unknowns popping up once the season starts.

RB-ringer, wells

WR- Robiskie, Amos

OL- Ronnie "TAZ" Wilson

TE- L. Wilson, B. Long

DL- Worthington, C. Smith, W. Ashley

LB- A. Daniels, McCoy

S- Myers-White

Ath- Lenix, C. Jackson

Now that i look at this list i would be absolutley amazed if we pulled it off, this is more of a pipe dream although i'm still going with this list until they commit elsewhere.

This is a great list but WHERE do we stand with these kids? Are we the leader/co-leader, on the list or long shots?
