How will the Dan Patrick show be received in Columbus?

ysubuck

Be water my friend.
The Dan Patrick show is still coming to Columbus for their show on Friday November 19. They will be broadcasting from the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe.

My question is this: Do I go? How should I act? If I go, is it in any way supporting ESPN, or simply supporting a Columbus business.

I want to go and throw stuff at them, but Dan Patrick has been pretty quiet about this whole thing other than the interview with Tom Friend in which Dan sounded less than convinced by Friend's answers to his questions.

As you say, Patrick has been one of the few, if not the only, ESPNer to refuse to jump on the bashwagon (hey, I like that word). No sense slamming him. Might as well support a local business, and if Patrick remains neutral, show support...

I'll be there. DP is one of the good guys. If I get a chance to be heard, I'll let it rip on his employer. Otherwise, I'm just going to have some wings and a few primers before the real drinking starts and I end up in Mirror Lake.

Patrick is a native Ohioan so show him so love. Hw was born in Zanesville and was raised in Mason.

BTW, most people don't know this but his real last name is Pugh. Patrick is his middle name.

If someone has a chance to speak with him, (or get any air time) you might want to point out that he's much better than espn, and should be concerned about his reputation due to the association he has with them. You might also suggest that he should take his talent somewhere else- somewhere that operates with dignity and ethics.

i think he would be a hero if buckeye fans showed up and were able to state their case against espn and tom friend in an intelligent and respectful manner...

he is giving the nation a chance to hear our side from our turf.....
