hmmm.... it's dark here now too

sushi... it's now almost midnight and it is 73 out. I spent 6 years in Wisconsin so I know how you feel. It will be beautiful here until next August when the humidity will be unbearable again. Come on down... I'll take you to Siesta Key!

June through August is miserable, stifling and just plain painful in the south but the fall and spring are great! Depending on the age and size of your home your electric bill could top $300/month easy.

Winter is not so bad either.
Our low last night was in the high 60's, we will be back up in the 80's today with sunny skies.

The one big difference I notice is the sunshine down here as opposed to the lack of it in the midwest.

That is a nice picture, for a deer hunter!:)
We have finally cooled down. Highs in the 60's lows in the 50's.
It made cleaning the pool a cool experience.
I still run around in shorts and a t-shirt.

My wife and kids want a fire and to roast marshmellows.
My rule it has to be in the 50's before 5PM before we have a fire.
We aren't there yet.
My 5 year old has never seen snow and my 10 year old has only seen it once and that was in Kansas.

I have trips to Ohio and Wisconsin coming up soon.
Maybe I'll see snow then.

Sounds nice to me! I love the 50s and 60s. I really miss those autumn/winter evenings in Arizona. The snow was beautiful this a.m., but it made me depressed to think about it being a long ass winter! Keep the whiskey flowing!
