Man, I don't know how you think 100 degrees in Texas is livable. I grew up where it was common to top a hundred during the day, but it was bone dry air and because of the elevation would cool down into the 50s at night.

100 and humid during the day and 80 and humid overnight, and there would be only one solution.

Austin humidity isn’t that bad... its not houston.... I grew up in Alabama where it was constantly low 90s with 80% humidity... fuck that shit
