Reminds me of the story about the little boy who was having trouble with the definitions of potentially and actually.

The little boy comes home from school and tells his dad he just can't keep the two straight, can he help?
Dad says he'd be happy to help and has a simple way to illustrate the difference. "Go ask your mom and your big sister if they would sleep with Brad Pit for a million dollars". The boy doesn't even know what that means but dutifully does as he's told.

Mom: "Yes I would and truth be told, I'd do it for a lot less than a million dollars"
Sister: "Hell, I'd do it for free."

The boy, somewhat disturbed at this point but still too young to know just why, reports his finding back to dad.

Dad says," You see son, potentially your Mom and sister are millionaires but actually they are just a pair of cheap sluts"

The boy goes forth a wiser man
