Hey guys I had DIP class today so I figure Indiana was a good one to miss.... What did I miss?

    A) How did Smith Look???

    B) The o-line??

    C) the big plays??

    D) Did the defense stop the run?

    E) Did the defense still play soft in the Secondary??

    F) What stood out most to you?

You missed the most enjoyable game thus far.

    A) How did Smith Look???
Pretty good, but still plenty of room for improvement.

    B) The o-line??
Much better. Still a few plays where they lost the blocking battle, but there were more plays where they won it.

    C) the big plays??
Missed most of the big pass plays but got lucky on one with Ginn. Pittman got loose several times on big run plays but most got called back. He still avg. >7 yards a carry. Mostly just steady marches down the field from the O. I think they only had one 3 and out!!!

    D) Did the defense stop the run?
Pretty much, still looked a little soft though. A better runnning team could exploit us.

    E) Did the defense still play soft in the Secondary??
They seemed more aggressive to me and challenged Indiana's recievers. They had a good game.

    F) What stood out most to you?
Just the enthusiasm the young guys brought to the game and how it also carried over to the older guys too.

Thanks for the input!! do you think Pittman wouldv'e broke 200 if not for the holding calls? I'm glad to hear that Smith played well!!

Easily. One of those holding calls was on a run play that went for 40+ yards.

I would guess he had close to 70-80 yards called back from holding calls. There were two long ones called back IIRC.

You missed the usual JV scrimmage dressed up as Homecoming against the Hooisers.
