I mowed my frickin yard today!

True Madness Requires Significant Intelligence
I will not say grass, it was green weeds with purple, yellow and white flowers.
I will not say lawn after a bulldozer, tractor and bobcat have turned it into the lunar surface.
It was ugly and now it looks better. I did not get to drink any beer as I had to chain saw a few trees afterward.
I did get a sunburn.
I baited 8 fire ant hills, the little bastards are everywhere.
Afterward I grilled some burgers out by the pool.
I am guessing that groundhog did not see his shadow!
This is one of the few months when I can say I enjoy living on the gulf coast.:biggrin:
Actually this week was nicer than this weekend and next week in is supposed to be warmer. When is spring break?

All of our illegals are working for the roofers. Which explains why I do not have my roof fixed!
I also changed the oil in my truck Friday evening. Today I spent a few hours stomping through the woods. I am pretty sure I have a bad case of the I can't sit still. We used to call that spring fever.

If either of you two (NSB or BinMich) would mow MY yard.. then I'd say you were doin something.. cuz pushin a mower for 9 hrs would be exercise...

and you two didn't hit 100 ground balls plus catch throws from an arm that is getting way too strong for an old fart dad.. all afternoon...

then I went to the gym.. and did a workout that would not have impressed either one of you.. but I went !!!

I did not think there was enough grass in the entire state of Jersey that it would take 9 hours to mow.

For what you pay the illegals you could get one of those cool zero radius riding mowers that has a beer holder on each fender.

Good for you on pitchin and cathin practice.

I started off the year good in the gym but two weeks of a sick family has changed that. Yard work seems to work a different set of muscles.
