I need a computer genius to help me here...

I need help! Heres my problem.

My wife e-mailed me a picture this morning. I opened it on my e-mail on my PDA. The picture shows up fine in my e-mail. I want to make it my background on my PDA, but I have to download it to my images file in order to do that. But when I download the image to save it, it appears brown and looks like a negative film from a camera. I thought maybe it was something from where she sent it. So I got home tonight and checked it on my laptop. The image is still fine but does the same thing. So I saved it on my laptop and thought I could send it to my PDA via my USB cable. But I don't see anywhere that i can transfer it. What am I doing wrong or is it something else I could try? PLEASE HELP!!!

You didn't specify what type of PDA you're working with but...

if you have a Palm, and have Palm Desktop installed, you should be fine. Open up Palm Desktop on the computer, click on the Media icon, then choose Add Media at the top. After selecting the image, do a Hotsync and it should show up on the Palm.

If you're not running a Palm, don't know off hand. Should be possible though.

Dude its not often I get a picture of my wife going to a hockey game without me!!!! and no I keep those pics at home :paranoid:

are you using the hockey style code word for blowjobs with the blue jackets or are we actually talking about attending a hockey game, or perhaps the ultimate getting a BJ at the blue jackets game (wife optional)?

just curious.

When you have your device connected to your laptop, can you go into My Computer and see it? Can you click on it and open it up like you can your C Drive? A lot of times when a device like this is attached to a computer, you can go in and open it up like your hard drive or a folder on your hard drive and copy and paste files to it.
