I thought starting Lowe was a huge mistake for the Sox. I guess you just never know!

sushi....you had to start lowe tonite.....

why...because....heavens forbid...and its not going to happen now...the game goes 22 innings.....guess what....

wakefield could pitch innings 11 through 22 in his sleep......while the yankees would be left with zip...

wakes value as the last guy off the bench is more valuable than his starting...

hope that makes sense....

i mean a knuckler like wake could throw 30 innings out of the pen...and the yanks have no answer for that...

Good point, DiHard. I kept seeing conflicting reports today about who was starting. Wakefield had a good outing last time against them (later in the game), so I just assumed he would start. Who knows, we might see Pedro for an inning or two. After all, he has to make the Yankees his daddy. :)
