(02/02/05 - LAKE JACKSON, TX) — Brazoria County prosecutors have filed criminally negligent homicide charges against a widow who allegedly killed her husband with an enema.

Lake Jackson resident Tammy Jean Warner turned herself in Tuesday. She's accused of giving her husband, Michael, an enema of sherry wine, which sent his blood alcohol level skyrocketing to a fatal .47 percent.

The DA says Mrs. Warner is charged because she knew the alcoholic enema could have deadly consequences, since her husband was a recovering alcoholic. <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_69928-->

That seems like a really weak charge. What does his being a recovering alcoholic have to do with a fatal blood alcohol level?

And unless she's a medical professional of some sort, how in the world would she know the consequences of doing that? I suppose if you think it through, it kinda makes sense since the liver doesn't get to filter the alcohol when it's going in that direction.

well the small intenstine absorbs stuff into your bloodstream pretty effectively. i once heard about a guy who shot so much heroin that his veins couldn't take it anymore so he had to start injecting it up his ass using the syringe w/the needle taken off.

plus look at any medicine that's a suppository...it def works....i've even heard of people 'plugging' ecstasy for a better buzz than eating it. seems retarded to me ....
