A kid from Pokie! I can't remember seeing an Idaho kid get an offer since I moved here, very cool. Love the way he plays and would love to see him here.

I will try to learn more on him but a few general things...although Highland is usually a "powerhouse" in Idaho, the competition is poor overall in the state. Also, Pocatello is primarily Mormon, which tends to play a lot into Mormon player's recruitment (i.e. they almost all go to BYU). Not sure if Tommy is, just giving the general info of that area. Anyways, I hope we become a factor in his recruitment.

...he is absolutely still interested in Ohio State.”
When the Buckeyes offered Togiai he spoke with Urban Meyer. The OSU staff had watched Togiai’s film, and Larry Johnson also spoke to Togiai and offered him a scholarship. Meyer had told Togiai the Buckeyes don’t usually recruit prospects in the state of Idaho, but if he was interested they were going to recruit him.
Togiai has indicated Ohio State is one of his top choices and he plans to visit the Buckeyes at some point. As of now it seems like the visit will likely be sometime this summer.

I have been derelict in my duties here, as I promised to look into this one. Every conversation I have had indicated that if Tommy leaves the west, it would be a complete shock to everyone. BYU or somewhere in the Pac 12 most likely. Definitely a case of look at what they do, not what they say...if he actually visits with his family here, I will loop back around.
