Agreed...we are going to end up with an incredible WR haul in '17. I often forget about this kid with Grimes, Judson, Peoples-Jones, etc. but he is just as good.

The 2017 WR class is so deep that he and a number of talented WRs may not be pursued as hard. I think Thomas has slid down the priority list. Lindsey and Greene seem to be the 2 main slot WRs(in that order) and the staff is probably done with WR recruiting if we get one of the 2(preferably Lindsey). And the outside WRs are targeted as Grimes, Harris and DPJ with the first 2 to commit in and done.

But with the way our staff recruits, Thomas could be a priority in another month

He probably is running 3rd currently by watching our staffs pursuit, but I don't see a drop off talent wise. His film looks just as impressive and he's got the rankings to back it up as well. Just wondering if it was associated with an off the field issue because I could see his recruitment kick back up because of the talent.

He's very talented! But there will be a lot of WR talent left out of this class due to numbers(possibly Thomas, Johnson Jr., Danny Davis, Jig Richardson, etc)

I would think he and Tyjon Lindsay are the top slot targets for '17. East Saint Louis kids have been tough to read in the past and typically go through the entire recruiting process before making a decision so we will see how things play out starting this spring and summer.
