I was sitting on the field without a coat (I thought it would be a light rain). I loved it too, other than when I could no longer shoot because the end of my lens was covered in water:lol:

FCUK THE BIG TEN COMMISSION... They obviously care too much about what the rest of the league thinks and cannot make a sound decision in this case. They are a bunch of pussies. We will still dominate even in Kurt's absence on the field at the rock.

We have all seen this before. People (in authority) often like to enforce new rules to the extent of over-reaction just like in a control system that doesn't trend well. I think it's called hysteresis in the engineering control world (sorry my world). It's the trend that overshoots the setpoint that eventually is brought under control by adding some external adjustments to the control system. Coleman got caught unfortunately in this errant control system. Thanks to guys like Rich Rod, the Big Ten will be a hot bed of hysteresis and until we get coaches and administrators to add their external adjustments (voice their protests). It's a good rule for blatant spearing hits and sucker punches. Sanzo was on the end of a spear last year IIRC. Too bad the rule didn't exist then. Too bad the good players get caught in rules that are written for dirty ones.

Yet the Illinois guy that tried to suplex Pryor onto the bench didn't warrant a suspension.

Let's send a copy of the game film to that Michigan coach for review.

Who also threw a punch while backing off from the bench area to the field...

We made fun of dick rod for whining about his players suspension. Although he was wrong for whining since his guy threw a punch, he was right about something else. Its probably a good idea to watch all the game tape and send infractions to the commish. Chances are he will suspend them.

I still have the game on my Tivo. i'm gonna check out that late hit on Pryor about 4 yards out of bounds again. I'll send a copy to the comish with a return address of Ann Arbor.

Unless it happened another time that I'm forgetting about, the play is right around 3:30 of this video. Difficult angle to see what happened as the Illinois player was going back onto the field, or maybe the video cuts out before the punch happened.

Shouldn't the officials be suspended as well? Apparently they made the wrong call by not throwing him out of the game immediately.

Officials should be held to the same high standards as these big 10 student athletes. These kids are playing a fast, violent and emotional game while earning millions of dollars for the conference/universities. Kurt Coleman's job is to hit someone....and hit them hard. He was late, he got the flag.

How come the officials from the Indiana vs. Scum game weren't suspended. After all, their error had an effect on the outcome of the game.

Shouldn't the officials have been suspended after last year's illinois game for missing a blatent fumble on the 4 yard line. (should they have even been reffing that game due to their horrible performance in the purdue game the week earlier).

Was it big ten officials that allowed Jimmy Clausen to throw a pass while a yard and half beyond the line of scrimmage giving ND a long gainer against MSU?

Methinks they would run out of officials if they actually held them to any kind of standard. If the big ten is going to be hard core, do it to all big ten employees, not just the kids that are paying their salaries.

I saw a late hit on Zoom after he was out of bounds ar 2:40. Call? I don't think so. I saw the swing in the actual game though on TP's run.

Playing fast and sometimes they get away with it.
