I'm real busy today, and that's a good thing because this game can't come soon enough. I really think Illinois might shoot themselves in the foot if they let this game turn into a half-court game, because May has been playing very well lately, and he looks more confidant than anyone out there.

If I'm coach Weber I tell my guys to get out there, push the ball, and take it to the hole HARD ... if they can stick with that early on, I think they might be able to get May tired, get some fouls on him by attacking the basket, and thus hopefully make him less of a factor down the stretch.

regardless of how they do it though, If Illinois can force carolina to rely on their guards to make the big buckets down the stretch in a close game, I think Illinois comes out on top.
 
I really think it's a toss up tonight. I'm hoping Illinois will win... I think their guard play will be too much for UNC. Illinois plays tough defense... as long as they don't back down for the entire game they should win.

Have you guys ever seen a team pass the ball as crisply and quickly as Illinois?

Man they can move the ball around!

Also, Dee Brown is about the quickest guy I've ever seen. Reminds me of Scoonie but a bit quicker.

I think it will be a matter of style. If Illinois tries to outrun UNC like MSU did, they won't be able to win. Also, I don't think they'll be able to just sit back and shoot 3s the whole game like they did against Louisville's zone either. Lastly, they've gotta find some way to contain May. That's my 3 keys for the game.

I'll be happy either way. It'd be great to have the Big10 win and to have OSU as the only one to knock off the champs. But on the otherhand, I've been a Tar Heel fan since I was about 14 years old, so I like to see them win as well.
