I'm sorry, but you can't have more toilet paper

Giant Eagle had a weak rack of some generic TP I'd never seen in my life for 50 cents a roll. There was a 6 roll limit. Since it's just me I grabbed two. I figure 15 rolls in house should last me a while, but I'm concerned that TP supply has actually become an issue in our lives.

I've bought garbage food I'd never eat otherwise - not because I wouldn't necessarily enjoy it, but I'm 55 and know what kind of crap is bad for my cholesterol, etc.. But it's stuff that'll last for months in the pantry, in case our government "leaders" are as stupid as I suspect.

Fuck this shit, and bring back my March Madness dammit!

Our long national nightmare is over. Costco was restocked on TP this morning.

Maybe for you. My kids have completely rejected the idea of rationing.

Yesterday I went into the kitchen at breakfast and found my 10 year old dumping half a bowl of Trix and milk into the trash while the 11 year old was dumping half a cup of milk down the sink drain.

Hide all the TP, paper towels, napkins, etc for a day and make them find other ways to wipe. I dare say it won't take long to get your message across. Especially if you provide a substitute like leaves, corncobs, or brillo pads. Or let them find their own.
The conversion to milk rationing should be easy after that.

Good for you, you've taught them well to clean up after themselves, which is more than many their age. Take the small victories.
