There are a lot of things I worry about - filling out our staff if we lose some is not one. People jump through hoops to coach for Urban, it's like....do you want to hit a grand slam walk off or would you rather do an inside the park walk off? Either way, at the end of it we are going to be ecstatic.

Kevin Wilson and Joker as co-OC's....I'd need a diaper change I'd be so excited, and if you can top that off with another year of Schiano as DC? Double pad that sucker! Sorry - I have a new born and I've changed more diapers than I ever thought imaginable...

If what is rumored is true, there's no way Wilson would be hired onto this staff for this coming year or the foreseeable future. You can't have a guy that has done that do that to your players. If it's proven not to be true or he makes some big changes in his life, who knows.

A couple things are for sure though... Kevin Wilson is one heck of an offensive mind, and Urban respects the hell outta him

Schiano's rumored to be in the running at USF. I know it's been mentioned a million times, but wonder if Charlie Strong would be interested in a year or two with Urban again before moving back to a HC gig?

I agree that you have to bring in someone who is currently an offensive coordinator, and has been for a couple years, that's been running my the type of offense you want. Joker is fine, but 2008 is a long time ago. Maybe Urban needs to consult Chip Kelly again.

You read my mind. Alabama has shown no remorse in hiring coaches with baggage / NCAA violations when it suits them - Kiffin, Tosh Lupoi, Sarkisian, I'm sure there are more. I also think they have 12 off-field 'analysts' at this point who don't count against their coaching staff. Can't hurt for us to do the same.

Going on a tequila bender before getting in front of some alum is one thing. Asking a kid to play injured is another. I'll pass, thanks. Being good at what you do sometimes (thankfully) is trumped by how you do it. I pray that our program considers that thought in this example.
