Game Thread Indiana at tOSU, Nov 23, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2

We will win but the margin of victory will cost us the number 3 seed if Baylor wins. Our offense is going to just straight up go off on Indiana but count me in the crowd that has been dreading this game all year since I saw what cal did to our defense.

72-45 final score.

I like our dline pressure and I like shazier but the other six in the back end have a mountain to prove before I feel confident in our defense. That includes the coaches too

Indiana is probably still going to be without their best RB Tevin Coleman but Houston is healthy to play. That takes some of the punch out of their offense. The defense has to challenge themselves to make the plays and improvement necessary for this team to be a Championship level team. They have shown glimpses this year but they need a full game. If we can hold Indiana under 28pts and put up 60+ that's an incredible win. If we just get the win it will do but it will make a lot of us feel better if we get a blowout at home. I don't expect us to hold them to 3 points like Wisconsin did by any means but I'd like to see us keep the pressure on.

I'd love to see us rotate in multiple backs, limit what Braxton has to do and get him out healthy early in the 3rd. We had a 58/42 run/pass ratio and I sure would love to see something closer to 75/25 Saturday. I feel sometimes we lose focus on what gives us the most success in all facets of our game, the power run with Hyde, but hope maybe it's just coaches working on a few things before scUM, MSU, etc.....at least, I hope that's what it is sometimes...

Hitting our 3rd game of the year this weekend. Looking forward to seeing #23 in person, along with what this offense can do to that defense and Senior Day. NOT looking forward to what that offense might be able to do to this defense if they play like that again. I think they'll give up some plays, but overall play will be much better. 70-24

I think the coaches and players will bounce back from the poor showing against Illinois with a thorough trouncing of the Hoosiers. I'm thinking 70 is not out of the question - and this is without throwing a pass in the 2nd half. Actually, with IU's run defense, we might score fewer points if we ONLY pass in the second half...... (Side note - how awesome is it that scoring 60 and winning by 25 on the road is considered a bad game these days?)

Yeah, I agree on the last point. We all remember the days (not too long ago, in fact) where 40-45 seemed unreachable. How times have changed!

GO BUCKS!!!!! :urban2:
