Does anyone else see/think its a very good possibility, that UFM gets his first 2 1,000 yard rushers this season? If I looked at the stats correctly, Braxton is at 709ish and Hyde at 949, Hyde is a given on the first drive against IU, but OSU has 4 games left. Thats 75 ypg average for Miller to get to a grand also.

Braxton Miller rushed for 1,271 yards last season. Hyde would be the first RB to accomplish it under Meyer though.

Over the last 53 games in the series, we're 49-2-2, including 31-1-1 at home. The worst thing to happen to Indiana prior to this game was for our defense to have a let down at Illinois...UFM will make sure the defense will play pissed off, aggressive, and 100% through the whistle Saturday.

I guess that could be true, if being down by 18 with 2:00 left in the game and then scoring two late touchdowns is having the opponent "on the ropes".....

I think Miller is at 594 right now. You may be looking at gross gain for Miller instead of net. Still, if Miller has another big day against Indiana, he could easily do it. Against scUM he should do fairly well, but MSU will be going all out to stop him on the ground, so he'd have to do most of his work through broken plays.

Yeah it's silly how outsiders/media view that game. It would be one thing if it had been 52-49 with 2 min left in the game but it was 52-41 and to get there they were down 52-34 at the end of the drive with 1:40 left they had to recover 2 on-sides kicks score a TD with a 2pt Conversion and hit a FG all just to get into OT. The game wasn't that close at all it only looked that way after a miracle comeback
