anyone who bashes to hockey has never been to an nhl game. i bet 4 or 5 people if they went to a game and didnt come back fans id buy their tickets 2 ended up buying partial season tickets.

the other issue here is $, it costs 75 bucks a pop to go to a hockey game, throw in a sandwich/fajita/meal, beer or 6, parking, youll ended up going up over 200 for two people.

I have been a big hockey fan since I was a kid. Growing up in Columbus I was a) weird for playing hockey and b) forced to find a great old AM radio to reach far away stations for the games (I remember 760 in detroit, 1160 in St. Louis, and 1030 and 1020 in Pittsburgh and Boston, I think. . .)

Hockey is a great game but I think it was degraded when they went East West with the conferences (Prince of Wales and Campbell were part of the charm and history) and when Fox took it over for a bit and put on robot hockey guys and generally degraded the sport. The highlighted puck thing was the worst. . .

The expansion has sucked too. My friend in Florida said that at the games they handed out rules pamphlets for each game. Nobody even knew what they were going to see. . .

The NBA, which I also used to be a big fan of, now totally sucks.
I love hockey, I remember watching games on cable as a kid with my dad as he was an Islanders fan. The problem with hockey is it diluted the product with expansion and alot of the clutching and grabbing is becoming more common.

I actually am glad they cancelled the season in hopes that this will bring about 6-8 teams folding and some rule changes (offsides tagups & more enforcement of obstruction)

I think normal Americans are naturally afraid of sports dominated by guys with mullets and funny accents. You can include NASCAR, hockey, and soccer in that category.

I think Donny doesn't like hockey highlights because he's jealous of Barry Melrose's mullet. It's a good'un!

I don't miss hockey yet, but a year with no Stanley Cup playoffs will suck. That leaves only baseball and the NBA playoffs for most of the time between early April until late June.

Hockey and baseball aren't very good to watch in the regular season. But the Stanley Cup playoffs are great.

Hockey highlights suck because they fill ESPN with clutter that I would rather not see.

Bucknat27, you hassle me without end, yet when I give it back, you throw a little tirade. What's with that?

Ooooh, donny calling out BN27, I like it.

So you're basically saying donny, that BN27 is a whiny little bitch who reminds you of a male figure skater?

First of all, what the hell is a "Websers" ? Is that the 'Bama 'billy dictionary ?

No, I'm not glad hockey is finished.

I just wish you would keep the dumb ass Jed Clampett fucking posts over at
fucking BN.

Try spending more time approaching double digits on the I.Q. test and less time thinking up your stupid questions.
