I'll add my congrats as well. My wife is ready to deliver our first kid anytime now, so I know exactly what you're going through. Along with what everyone else said (all good advice), I will warn you that your wife will snooze for approximately the next 3-4 months. Take advantage of the time while she's awake, and take advantage of the time while she's sleeping (with the guys, of course). You won't have a whole lot of opportunity for poker, sports, etc. once the kid arrives. At least, I think. I'll let you know within the next couple of weeks.

One unexpected perk: Everything is "billable" time as long as you're holding the baby. My youngest is two this weekend and I saw more college football in her first few months than ever before. She would sack out for two-three hours on my shoulder with the games on. You can't move "or you might wake her up," so there you sit. Chillin' with the kid. Just don't forget and jump up, throwing your arms in the air on a bad call.

Congratulations man! One piece of advice, make sure you child-proof your house by:

A) Making sure all toxic chemicals are out of low-lying cupboards, and

B) Making sure nothing is maize and blue

That outta do it :wink2:
