LeBron needs only remember and be cognizant of the hostility and hatred of Art Modell... to the day he dies, Modell will be hated in NE Ohio... Modell feels it to the point he never sets foot in NE Ohio.. maybe Lebron needs to call Art and ask him if the Super Bowl title was worth it.. I suspect not

LeBron has stated for the last 25 years, that NE OH, Akron and Cleveland mean everything to him... If he makes a move, he'd have to move his residence.. can you imagine him trying to hold a fund raising event in Akron.. or showing up at ST V or Akron U... Modell part II

He can get max deal wherever he goes.. so money is not the object...

What I fear now is that he is alienating his Cav teammates because what he's doing is implicitly telling everyone he doesn't believe they are good enough to play with him... that he can't win with them... which is pretty ironic considering this team has more victories than any team in the NBA for two years running...

LBJ is showing signs of immaturity right now... and the immaturity of his influencers such as Mav Carter... Just what is LBJ looking for? He could win it all with Kobe, but then it'd always be because of Kobe... He could win in Chicago, but he'd never be as good as Jordan...

I can understand having to part ways with Brown... but only if you are sure you can get someone better... and not sure that's happening... Losing Ferry is big... that dents the image of the Cavs to everyone in the NBA that matters...

And all this because of Lebron
I agree with most everything here, but I can assure you, anybody is better than Brown. His "coaching" in the last two series they were bounced (BOS, ORL) bordered on criminal incompetence.

LeBron is caught up in his free-agency like the attention starving senior who shuffles his hats on signing day. The Larry King interview where he says Cleveland has an "edge", not calling Izzo b/c he doesn't want to tip his hand in free-agency, his "camp" saying he wants to test the market when their is no market to speak of...he gets a max-deal wherever he signs, no suspense in that.

I agree with this. There is nothing to his free agency (at least money-wise)-- there is only the desire to be courted by multiple NBA teams and have his name in the papers every day. And, as evidenced by his handling of the Izzo situation and Izzo staying in E. Lansing as a result, his actions thus far are actually having a negative impact on him winning an NBA title.

Are you serious? How many owners have won a super bowl?

In a choice between winning it all and the affectations of a middling depressed Midwest city....yeah, I think I'll choose the former 10/10 times.

WHAT???

Nothing LBJ has done (or not done) this offseason has had any influence on his winning a title - unless his was the voice that got Mike Brown canned, in which case he's advanced his interests greatly.

false. the cavs can make no moves without knowing james' intentions. they can't convince any major players to agree to a sign and trade to cleveland without knowing if james will be there. they'd be foolish to try and make an outright trade to get a legit #2 without knowing if james will be there. and of course, there's the coaching situation.

no, the cavs are a rudderless ship until that drama queen douchebag gets done getting his wang sucked by every possible team in free agency.

How can Lebron have an impact on those things if they can't even happen yet?
