This HAS to be something more than receiving a gift bag from a breast awareness event. I just can't believe that's what this is about. It must be something else... free admission to the event or something.

Like I said, I am betting its more like they got into the event for free than what they got at the event. But still, wtf? Especially if this is related to Spiel's foundation, which hopefully it isn't.

Scene: Players show up at a breast cancer charity function and are presented with gift bags for their appearance...

JC: Sweet... Swag bag!

CB: Dude? Is this ok to take?

TH: Yeah, I'm sure we're good. Really, man... This is nice and all, but it ain't like the shit we get for going to a bowl game.

JC: True DAT!

Fast forward three months...

NCAA: Son, you can't play in one game this year because you took that gift bag.

JC, TH, CB: How's this different from the gift bags at the bowl game?

NCAA: Well son, when you play in a bowl game you get a gift as a sign of appreciation from all those who are making a ton of money off your play. When you do a charity appearance you don't make anybody any money...

What is wrong here why can't players learn that in order to play football and have a scholarship it is against the rules to accept gifts that aren't available to everyone..you cannot trade on the fact that you play football for tOSU what is so hard to understand..how many players in the Big 10 outside of our own are suspended? and I don't want the obligatory posts that the rule is STUPID that is not the point..

Did anyone else see that Mississippi State suspended 5 players for their opener? Of course you didnt. Because they call it "violation of team rules" and no way in hell would Mississippi self report if it were more than that.

Pitiful state of events going on in Columbus right now. Sick of the whole damn situation.
