Jameis Winston (QB New Orleans Saints)

Will Jameis Winston be the Ryan Leaf to Marcus Mariota's Peyton Manning?

Seriously, who was the idiot in the Tampa Bay front office who decided that this clown was better than Mariota?

And when will the Browns hire that guy?

The line I've heard quoted about why some teams didn't want to take Mariota is that "no red flags are a red flag." Brilliant logic.

Well, they didn't have that problem with jammies. Red flags galore.

No flag on that pick-six play, though.

4 more INTs today, including another pick six.

Don't know what the Tampa thought they were getting, 6 TDs, 7 INTs and a little better than 50% pass completion. This is looking just like his last year at FSU. Yes, he was elite when he played against teams with severely less talent than his 2013 FSU squad, o-line that gave him a ton of time and receivers that could get open. But when his team is less talented than his opponent or has similar talent at best which is what Tampa is, he tops out as a mediocre QB. Playing for a coaching staff that isn't known as QB developers, I can't imagine he gets much better.

Jameis Winston, sexual assault accuser settle federal lawsuit

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has settled a federal lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2012 while he played at Florida State, according to the woman's attorney.

Former Florida State student Erica Kinsman accused Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, of sexually assaulting her at his apartment in December 2012. He was never charged with a crime by police in Tallahassee, Florida, and the state attorney's office there declined to pursue a criminal case against him.

"The case has been resolved to the satisfaction of the parties," John Clune, the woman's attorney, told ESPN on Wednesday night.

Clune declined to discuss the specifics of the settlement. Winston, in his second season with the Buccaneers, will also dismiss his countersuit against Kinsman.

Kinsman's lawsuit was scheduled to go to trial in U.S. District Court in Orlando, Florida, on April 3.
