At first, I was scared. SouthernPA Buck Hunter has a good point. There's no telling what Penn State will do, now that the second coming of Joesus has arrived. But then I remembered: Penn State is still in the Big 10, and even Joesus I couldn't beat the biased referees and the biased voters. So now I'm not worried.

Agreed. While people are quick to rush to judgment about Franklin, let's remember the source -- a lawyer representing an alleged rapist. That is worthy of scrutiny.

What I see as a relatively thoughtful and restrained observation on the danger of hiring a coach when four of his players were awaiting rape charges, still infuriates the cult. Yep. If their season falls apart or if the Franklin scandal takes flight, I'll probably go back for the pure joy of it. On a daily basis, however, it's just too tiring to read through their madness.

The article takes issue with the statement by the alleged victim that Franklin wanted a team of sluts to help with recruiting...and that he knew it was against the rules but didn't care. All their responses completely ignore that, and focus on an argument Jones doesn't even make.
