James Quick (WR Louisville)

getting the feeling that Gibson hasn't verballed not because of grades but because osu is waiting on Quick first.

Once Quick goes elsewhere, Gibson becomes the target. I don't it was going to be a quick and gibson situation..it was going to be one or the other..

which means osu is taking just one more WR

OSU is weak in their WR core. I can see both players receiving major playing time next year so I dont think that is the issue here.

Gibson has always been about grades...check his thread. We'd definitely take both Quick and Gibson.

This is in no way a knock on the Ohio State recruiting staff, Urban Meyer, or anything Buckeye. Nonetheless, especially after watching them beat Florida, I can see how the Louisville Cardinals and Charlie Strong would be a powerful draw to a young man growing up in Louisville. Hard to criticize this decision, if indeed James elects to stay local.

I still want the kid in scarlet and gray, of course.

I think most BP'ers agree. It's never too bad a thing when a kid stays home.

Are you using some sort of reverse psychology?
