Jared Cook (TE Oakland Raiders)

wasnt Mike Williams an underated 6-5 reciever coming out of high school?

Man if we could snag up a 6-5 reciever with speed to go along with Ginn and Holmes, Gonzo, and Lyons who is 6-4 and get Wesley Lyons next year at 6-6 think about good ole Brandon Harrison at scUM at 5-8. He can match up with speed and get burnt or match up with height and get burnt.

I forget the kids name that plays WR for Wyoming. This Cook kid reminds me of him. He doesn't have blazing speed but has a body type that is nearly impossible for a small corner to guard. I like the prospect of getting this kid.

Cook Commits

By Phil Kornblut
WR Jared Cook (6-6 210) of Suwanee, GA committed to USC on his official visit over the weekend. Cook has not been available for comment but his brother Jason, a freshman fullback at Ole Miss, confirmed the commitment. "He had a real good time on his visit," Jason Cook said. "He and coach Spurrier had a good talk. My parents and coach Spurrier talked about a lot of things and he felt South Carolina was the place for him." Cook picked USC over Ohio State and Mississippi State. This season he had 32 catches for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns.
