Also shocked. Maybe they saw the TCU guy as a longer-term coach who wouldn't use OU as a stepping stone.

I guess... especially since he was at Kent State for 6 years. I think I might just be shocked at how much they are paying him... 600k???

Just shocked... shocked...

Who ever made this decision must also be handling the current admissions standards as well. If you don't want to be little brother in the classroom, keep admission standards high... if you don't want to be little brother on the BB court, don't hire someone who is running away from competing in the B12...

Disclosure: "you don't want to be..." includes me as I own degrees from OU as well.

From what I've heard, Christian is running #2 behind Pat Skerry, Towson coach

Source: Poor, poor BC insiders

Just looked at Skerry's bio now; 2011-2013 Towson went 1-31 in his first year, and in 2013-2014 he went 25-10....that's impressive

Just sayin Hope this does not come true because I have an idea who might go after the vacancy

Ohio University's Jim Christian is a serious candidate at BC, multiple sources told ESPN. In fact, may be the frontrunner.

And it's official... Ohio's first University is in need of a new head basketball coach.

Come home big fella!!!
