Hey look, they didn't completely scrub every ounce of scarlet from the uniform is a pretty painfully low bar to clear.

Never mind that the stickers are on a trapper keeper for a helmet, which apparently is a staple of the entire design.
I like the new updated version a bit better. Scarlet buckeye leafs, scarlet O on the chest and scarlet shoes.
The scarlet o is not visible. It's the size of an eyeball.

You provided 2 teams... Good job, and I'll give you another Ped St. Great. 3 teams as outliers.
And yes, though it may be small effect, it does matter to recruits. Like it or not, Urban has stated so on numerous occasions. The jerseys make money, and the kids who will actually play and affect the future outcome of games like them. If you don't like them, don't buy them and don't watch OSU games when they wear them. But I can bet you that OSU fans will still watch and cheer on the Buckeyes and OSU won't turn down the check on the uniforms they helped design. Get over it, every year OSU will roll out alternates. And I'm sure you'll be seeing these alternates worn all over campus, just like the black ones. but not so much the ugly throwbacks we wore against Nebraska
Recruits have said time and time again that uniforms are not high on their priority list when looking at a school. Oregon has had hideous shit for coming on two decades now, and the only reason why they have been good off-and-on during that time wasn't the uniforms but rather the coaching they had (and some kid from Hawaii named Marcus). Here are the final Rivals recruiting rankings for Oregon since 2002 (earliest Rivals has):

2017 18
2016 25
2015 17
2014 26
2013 22
2012 16
2011 9
2010 13
2009 32
2008 19
2007 11
2006 49
2005 28
2004 12
2003 26
2002 48

They've finished in the top 10 once (and barely are that) out of sixteen seasons and finished outside the top 20 in half of those seasons. If uniforms were so important, Oregon would be the perennial recruiting champion instead of some school located in a southern podunk town name Tuscaloosa.

This doesn't really prove or disprove anything. Nobody is saying alt jerseys are a top 5 reason why a recruit would choose a school. The claim is that the kids LIKE it. They do. Look at how nuts the players go when they do those stupid jersey reveal videos. They could bring out a brown poop emoji uniform and the kids will act like middle aged women on Oprah looking under their chairs.

Secondly, I can't believe people use Oregon as an example where this doesn't help recruiting. What was Oregon before Nike? What were they after?
