It's not Rudy's fault. He thought the same rules applied to soda pop that applied to movie scripts: It's OK to take liberties with the truth when it makes your product appear more palatable to the consumer.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the "SEC" being mentioned was not the S-E-C. Duh! My mind was on football I guess.

A friend of mine who is a huge ND fan has always told me that Rudy is known to be a tool. She's usually pretty biased so that says a lot, and that was well before Rudy's SEC issues.
