Little Johnny ending up in Hamilton wasn't the best thing for him. Since June Jones took over midseason last year, Jeremiah Masoli has turned into arguably the best QB in the CFL. He's now got 8 straight 300+ yard passing games. The CFL record is 9, and the league has been around since 1954.

Manziel isn't going to play anything more than mop up duty unless Masoli gets injured or inexplicably falls apart. Toronto would've been a better spot for him. He'd probably be starting next week for aging and injured Canadian hall of famer Ricky Ray. Oh well.

What's a first round pick in the CFL draft really worth?

This year's overall #1 pick was Mark Chapman, a WR from Central Michigan. He was third team all MAC last year.
