For those who care, JT actually had his life changed at one of the FCA meetings:

Video testimony (garbled audio)
[font=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular] He had been attending an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) banquet, and the speaker, Bobby Richardson, former second baseman for the New York Yankees, posed a question. “If the game of life ended tonight, would you be a winner?”

Tressel says he didn’t know. “Internally, I just didn’t know if I could answer that question ‘yes’.

Richardson had told his audience that the way to be a winner in the game of life was to ask Jesus to come into your life and take control.

“I walked out the back door of the banquet hall and down the third baseline of a softball field and it kind of all came together. That was the time I needed to surrender and ask Jesus to take charge.

“And I did.”

And this is the guy that runs a dirty program.

Well, you know that Tressel take all the money out of the sermon collection plate to play his players, right? :roll1:

For those that didn't get it, I wasn't bashing crazybuckfan40 but rather those who actually believe Tressel is dirty.

Many of my friends from Y-town will be there, I know for sure. I have a doctor friend from Boardman who will be there. Before he retired he use
to take his whole staff for 2 weeks down to South America and do free
dental work on the poor and underprivleged people. He knows all about the FCA. Jim Tressel knows this man very well. If i was back up in Ohio, i know i would be at that Event. Its well worth the money. I encourage all who can afford it, to attend this.
