I also hate quoting people and never respond to a long post with a painfully long, often segmented reply of my own. I think Thad has his weaknesses. I've always felt his teams are far too weak from the line. They could be better from outside but I think they've usually had enough perimeter scoring to win and other weaknesses have been more pressing. I think he is a victim of his own recruiting in that he gets so many monsters on campus that bolt for the league without the tradition or sway to keep them around like Izzo or Coach K pull off regularly.

I think his coaching/development of this team is worthy of major criticism and have said that repeatedly this season. I also believe it is in stark contrast to most of his coaching efforts in Columbus.

I also think that defensive prowess is a vastly underrated attribute and something you can rely upon with more confidence than shooting.

I think all of those things and still think OSU is incredibly fortunate to have him leading their program. He inherited a program in a tailspin and has had them as a top-7ish program for the majority of his tenure.

I found someone who partly agrees with me, don't see how that's trolling. They may not agree with all I said, but they apparently agree with some of it. I was asked who else shares my view and I found one on this sight who does agree with a few of my viewpoints on Thad, just not all.

Please ponder what in your presentation may have differed, and how that difference may shed light on why you are having issues on the board.

If you would like to gleam additional useful information from this thread, which was also split off due to its contentious nature, consider how its participants are grown up enough to LET IT DROP once they had their say.

Else, while nobody is likely to kiss your ass, we may find a volunteer willing and able to boot it.

Congrats, what do you want, a cookie? Let's see here - very respected poster puts forth a cogent analysis of a coach for a singular season where the team still won 25 fucking games at a FOOTBALL SCHOOL, especially in comparison with previous teams vs. the crap you posted.

If you don't see the difference (and I'm sure you won't be able to grasp it) then you're just trying (and failing) to troll again.
