Huston to show skills



Kicker Josh Huston will participate in the College Football All-Star Challenge. The event will be taped Monday in Miami and will air at 4 p.m. Feb. 4 on ESPN.

This is the first year kickers will participate in the skills event. Huston, Stephen Gostkowski of Memphis, Connor Hughes of Virginia and David Pino of Texas will compete.

Apparently Josh will be kicking a field goal from the 20. If successful they will move back in increments. When you miss, you are eliminated. Last player standing wins.

The second challenge will involve a time limit and it will see who can kick the most successful field goals in that time.

This is secondhand information, so I'm not 100% sure.

kid from memphis, Gostowski? Josh missed his 51 yarder and already used his mulligan...Gostowski hit his 51 yarder without using a mulligan.

ZTRYRYTCVKowski from Memphis. Josh was perfect up to 51 yards, when he missed both tries (each kicker had a "mulligan"), while ZUYTUYTUTYkowski hit his first try from 51.
